As a Morton Buildings crewmember, you will refine those skills which you already possess and learn many more. Your day will involve reading plans, operating specialized equipment, and employing various hand and power tools. You will perform basic wood framing and install various types of siding and roofing materials, including hi-rib steel panels, shingles, wood sidings, and mortarless masonry.

Our training program is simultaneous; we train you as we construct buildings. In addition to the one-on-one field training there are training manuals, videos & DVDs, and classroom instruction. You’ll learn Morton Buildings construction techniques and safety standards. This program will prepare you to succeed regardless of task or weather conditions.

As your crew tackles project after project, you’ll quickly learn that no two days are ever the same.
